Wiki Loves Monuments 2015 - Celebrating SA Heritage - One Photograph at a Time
September is heritage month which means it is the beginning of Wiki Loves Monuments 2015.
The contest welcomes contributions from across South Africa, and around the world, to upload pictures of monuments and historical sites to improve Wikipedia’s coverage of these important locations.
These are the prizes up for grabs :
- First Prize
- Vouchers from Orms to the value of R 8,000.00.
- Second Prize
- Vouchers from Orms to the value of R 4,000.00.
- Best Picture / Video of a Proposed Monument (photograph must be a still from a video)
- Vouchers from Orms to the value of R 3,000.00.
- Best Video
- Vouchers from Orms to the value of R 3,000.00.
- Best Use on Wikipedia
- Vouchers from Orms to the value of R 3,000.00.
- Best Submission – Western Cape
- Vouchers from Orms to the value of R 2,500.00.
